Need To Satisfy Planning Conditions?
Soakaway percolation testing and foul infiltration testing across the Midlands and beyond — supporting planning applications for extensions, self-builds and new developments.
OUR SERVICES
Satisfy Planning Conditions
Percolation Tests specialise in both surface water soakaway testing inline with BRE365 for SuDS drainage design, and foul infiltration testing inline with Part H of the Building Regulations.
Satisfy Planning Conditions
Carry out percolation tests to satisfy your planning conditions.
Percolation Test Approved
All of our surface water percolation tests are carried out inline with BRE365.
Our Own Machinery to Save Costs
This means we have low overheads, and are able to pass this saving on to you.
Testing Available Monday to Friday
Allowing us to support smaller house builds and self-builds.
What We Do

Percolation Testing (BRE 365)
Soakaways ensure surface water run-off is discharged into the ground. A percolation test to BRE365 is required to calculate the infiltration rate.

Infiltration Testing (BS 6297)
Where it is not possible to connect foul drainage to a public sewer, you will need to connect to an individual treatment plant.

Drainage Strategy (SuDS)
Drainage strategies are an essential planning requirement no matter the size of development. We work with a local engineering practice for a seamless service.

WHERE WE WORK
Tests we’ve carried out
We have carried out more than 750 percolation and infiltration tests since 2018, from Devon to Yorkshire and from west Wales across to Kent. We are based in Wolverhampton, so the Midlands and the Welsh borders are our doorstep — but we travel, and a site outside the cluster is routine work for us.
Counties we cover
Not near a dot? That is not a problem — call 01902 475653 and we will tell you straight away whether we can get to you.
ABOUT US
We Offer Specialist Percolation Tests
We specialise in percolation and infiltration testing, and the business is run by a drainage engineer with 18 years in the industry — so the testing is done by someone who knows what your drainage design will need from it.
